- Honda Service Bulletin 10-083 (applies to 2005-07 Accord Hybrid) says replacement IMA batteries come in new battery types whose control software must be matched to the battery; mismatched software reduces IMA battery life. (static.nhtsa.gov: MC-10142649-9999.pdf, 2026-10-07)

Honda's 2007 Accord Hybrid emissions warranty parts list (APL 32849) lists the IMA battery assembly at 8 years/80,000 miles in states other than California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New York and Vermont, and 10 years/150,000 miles in those six states; 2005-2006 lists were not found.
