- Honda Service Bulletin 06-057 extends IMA battery module coverage for 2000-04 Insights; its corrective action is to replace a failed IMA battery module (remanufactured units only, per SB 10-061) together with the battery condition monitor, and on 2000-01 cars also the motor control module. Honda Service Bulletin 06-057 (revised December 2012) extends IMA battery module coverage on 2000-2004 Insights to 10 years or 150,000 miles in the 43 states not covered by companion bulletin 06-027 (which covers Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Nevada and Texas), and states that 2002-2004 Insights bought or leased between April 13, 2002 and November 7, 2006 are covered for 10 years or 157,500 miles; no Honda warranty document was found for the 2005-2006 model years.
